Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

By installing or using Juvv Hire (the "App") provided by Juvv ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.

2. Use of the App

Juvv Hire is a Shopify application that allows merchants to add a careers and hiring page to their Shopify store and to manage job applications.

You may use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App to post fraudulent, misleading, or discriminatory job listings.
• Collect or misuse candidate data in a way that violates applicable privacy laws.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell any part of the App.
• Use the App in any way that disrupts the service for other users.

3. Merchant responsibilities

As a merchant using the App, you are responsible for:

• The content of job listings you publish on your storefront.
• Handling candidate application data in compliance with applicable laws, including employment and privacy laws in your jurisdiction.
• Communicating with candidates and managing the hiring process fairly and lawfully.
• Informing candidates about how their data will be used.

Juvv is a technology provider only. We are not an employer, staffing agency, or party to any employment relationship between you and any candidate.

4. Candidate data

Candidate application data submitted through your storefront is collected on your behalf. You, as the merchant, are the data controller for candidate personal data. Juvv acts as a data processor on your behalf.

You must have a lawful basis to collect and process candidate data and must provide candidates with appropriate privacy notices.

5. Intellectual property

The App and all associated software, designs, and content are owned by Juvv. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property other than the limited right to use the App as described.

Content you create within the App (job listings, company descriptions) remains your property.

6. Availability and modifications

We aim to keep the App available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time.

We will provide reasonable notice of material changes when possible.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Juvv shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Juvv harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal proceedings.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice.
