1. Introduction
Juvv ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Juvv Hire Shopify application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with the App.
By installing or using the App, you (the merchant) agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Merchant and store data
When you install Juvv Hire, we receive information from Shopify about your store including your shop domain, email address, and billing information necessary to operate the App.
2.2 Job and careers page content
We store job listings and careers page content that you create within the App. This content is associated with your store and is displayed on your Shopify storefront.
2.3 Candidate application data
When candidates apply for jobs through your storefront, we collect the information they submit: name, email address, phone number (if provided), cover letter, and any other fields included in the application form.
2.4 Resumes and CVs
Candidates may upload a resume or CV as part of their application. These files are stored using Cloudflare R2 object storage. Files are linked to the candidate's application and are accessible only to you as the merchant.
3. How we use information
- To operate and deliver the App's features to you and your candidates.
- To send transactional emails (application confirmations to candidates, notification emails to you).
- To provide customer support.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use candidate application data for any purpose other than delivering it to the merchant who operates the store.
4. Data storage and subprocessors
We use the following third-party services to operate the App. Each acts as a data subprocessor:
- Shopify - the platform through which the App is installed and the storefront is served.
- Render - cloud hosting for the App's backend application and database.
- Cloudflare R2 - object storage for uploaded resume files.
- Resend - transactional email delivery.
- Vercel - hosting for this public website.

5. Data retention
We retain merchant data for as long as the App is installed on your store. Candidate application data is retained until you delete it from the App dashboard or until you uninstall the App and request deletion.
When you uninstall the App, Shopify notifies us and we begin the process of removing your store's data within 30 days.
6. Candidate rights
Candidates who have submitted applications through a store using Juvv Hire may request deletion of their personal data. Requests should be sent to the merchant's store directly. Merchants may contact us at support@juvv.app to process data deletion requests.
7. Merchant rights
As a merchant, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your store's data at any time by contacting us at support@juvv.app.
8. Cookies and tracking
The App and this website do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. The App may use strictly necessary session cookies to operate the Shopify admin interface.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or by email to the address associated with your Shopify store.
